Here at Rig-Tech we constantly hear the horror stories from our clients of equipment and spare parts being procured and then stored exposed to environmental conditions without the correct protection. When these parts are shipped to the final destination (Onshore and Offshore globally) customers discover the piece of equipment is damaged/corroded and no longer fit for purpose. This can result in a huge financial burden, not to mention the operational cost/impact and potential ceasing of production in extreme cases.
