TSA (Tank Storage Association) Conference Blog

On the 28th of September 2017, Rig Tech attended the TSA conference in Coventry with the support of our manufacturers Zerust and Casper Van Stek of Viscotaq.

The conference was a resounding success with companies such as OPA, Puma Energy, UM storage, Essar, Nustar and others all taking the time to learn more about our corrosion protection methods for storage tanks and pipelines. The sample pipeline and tank berm we had at the stand to demonstrate our solutions was a great help, in conjunction with a fantastic media display from Zerust.

Over 30 visitors to our stand highlighted issues including; soil side bottom corrosion, internal roof space corrosion and a number of pipeline projects where our innovative solutions would offer unparalleled long term protection.

As a result we have been asked to supply these customers with our alternative solutions and help utilise modern technology to ensure unparalleled asset integrity.

Finally, our colleague was fortunate enough to win the Champagne in the conference raffle and proceeded to share this around the neighbouring stands as he was unable to take the bottle on the flight back to the Netherlands. Well done Casper!
